6:00 a.m.

I started the day with my daily routine of taking the dogs for an early morning walk.  It was a cool 38°.  Me and the dogs have a funny walking routine first thing in the morning.  I take them both out and Truman (our little black poodle mix) goes to the bathroom right away, gets scared by some sound (it's usually a little dark) and heads back to the camper within a few minutes.  I open the RV door, he scampers in, and gets in bed with Clinton while Charlie (our Schnauzer) and I then go for a long walk.  Aren't dogs funny?!  Just like human children, they are all different.

7:00 a.m.

I wanted to watch the sun rise over the ocean by myself without dogs pulling on me so I took Charlie back to Roxy and headed out with my cell phone.  It is just a two minute walk to the beach and I was greeted with the most amazing sunrise!

If it wasn't so chilly, I could have stayed out there for hours!

6:30 a.m.
Just like clockwork - it was time to rise and shine and take the dogs out for their morning walk.  I was pleasantly surprised to find it was warm - 60°!
We got back just in time - we had a thunderstorm for a couple of hours.  It was so nice to stay all warm and cozy inside the RV with the fireplace going.  I am spoiled - I will have to have a fireplace in every RV we have from now on.
Truman was all snuggly!

We had egg and cheese sandwiches for breakfast and then I did a yoga workout.  I just laid out the mat in the kitchen area while Clinton watched TV.  I played a yoga video from Youtube.

12:00 p.m.

While my videos for yesterday were uploading, we drove up the campground store to fill one of our propane tanks.  This was just the second time we had to fill a propane tank.  We have two of them - they each have compartments in the front of the RV.  Thankfully we use our fireplace a lot - it's electric so that is just part of our camping fee.  …

Sullivan's Island - Fort Moultrie

6:30 a.m.

Up and out the door with the dogs - it wasn't as warm as the day before (46°) but still warmer than other parts of the country.

We were totally naughty for breakfast lol!  We weren't really than hungry so we ended up eating a lemon hand pie - Clinton had picked one up at the grocery store the other day when I wasn't looking!  This one was from Krispy Kreme so it makes it alright doesn't it?!

11:00 a.m.

After finishing the blog and uploading a video from Saturday, we were ready and on our way for another day of exploring.  We decided that since we were going to have a sunshiny day, we would head to Sullivan's Island and the beach.  That turned out to be a great decision.

It was a short drive through Charleston and over the amazing Ravenel Bridge to Sullivan's Island.

I obviously did not take this picture!  It was taken by:  Photo by David Martin Jr. on Unsplash

7:00 a.m.

It had rained all night long which is kind of noisy in our RV.  You would think it would be nice to go to sleep with the sound of rain hitting the roof but it's kind of annoying lol!

Even though it was still raining, I went ahead and took Charlie for a walk.  It had warmed up a lot since yesterday (60°!).

We had French toast and bacon for breakfast - such a treat!

12:00 p.m.

We are getting into a habit of being lazy in the morning and finally getting around by noon!  However there was a reason why we took our time leaving to explore - we were meeting a gal I used to work with 15 years ago!  We have stayed in touch all these years through Facebook.

1:00 p.m.

We are camping only about 11 miles from downtown Charleston but it takes a long time for us to find a parking space big enough for us to maneuver our truck into!  We finally found a spot and walked several blocks to meet my friend.

We met at the Charleston City Market.  This market is huge…
